Assesses patient needs, formulates a nursing diagnosis, prescribes and develops plan of care, implements and evaluates effectiveness and outcomes of care. Provides age specific and culturally relevant care utilizing evidence-based nursing standards. Delegates activities to other unit colleagues. Collaborates with healthcare team members to coordinate the treatment plan and nursing care plan for safe and effective patient care. Participates in quality improvement activities, the TUL process and unit based governance activities to improve patient care and nursing practice. Registered nurse with a valid Indiana State RN license. Healthcare Provider CPR certification. NRP and PCEP required within two years of hire. 1 to 2 years of experience in OB is preferred. |
