Account Coordinator (2510)

Process unpaid accounts by contacting insurance carriers and/or third-party payers. Honor patient and co-worker confidentiality. Under the supervision of the CPO Manager, processes and reviews outstanding insurance claims. Responds to patient and third-party inquiries. Works closely with other Account Coordinators and Patient Service Representatives to assure that timely claims processing is achieved.

Two years of medical billing experience. Knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 and insurance terminology.
